Ohio Economic Report

A new report from The Brattle Group details the significant economic and environmental benefits of nuclear power plants in Ohio. The new analysis of Ohio’s two nuclear plants shows that the Davis-Besse and Perry nuclear facilities help keep energy prices low for Ohio consumers, who would pay $177 million more annually for electricity and $1.3 billion over the next ten years without these two plants. In addition, the facilities add more than $510 million to the state’s gross domestic product and contribute $23 million in state and local tax revenues annually
